Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of DeskBook's public website and software services.

These terms of service govern your access to and use of DeskBook, including the public website, sign-in flow, and any associated software or services we provide. By accessing or using DeskBook, you agree to be bound by these terms.

DeskBook is operated by ORBN Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15987160, with its registered address at 4 East Barton Barns, Great Barton, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP31 2QY.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use DeskBook. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity carried out through your account.

4. Permitted use

You may use DeskBook only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these terms. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use the service to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful material.

5. Service availability and changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of DeskBook from time to time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

6. Fees and subscriptions

If you purchase a paid DeskBook subscription, any commercial terms, fees, payment timing, and renewal arrangements agreed with you will apply in addition to these terms. Failure to pay undisputed fees when due may result in suspension or termination of access.

7. Intellectual property

DeskBook, including its software, content, branding, and design, is owned by ORBN Ltd or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your internal business purposes only.

8. Third-party services

DeskBook may integrate with third-party services or rely on third-party infrastructure. We are not responsible for third-party products or services, and your use of them may be subject to separate terms from those providers.

9. Disclaimer

DeskBook is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ORBN Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunity arising out of or in connection with your use of DeskBook. Our total aggregate liability in connection with DeskBook will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or GBP 100 if you have not paid us anything.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to DeskBook if you breach these terms, if payment is overdue, or if continued access would create legal or security risk. You may stop using the service at any time.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms or the use of DeskBook.
